Kyle Kuzma is a player that is well-known for winning the championship in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers. As of right now, he is one of the best role players in the league, and he is currently averaging 21.4 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 3.6 APG.

Recently, the forward was linked to the Los Angeles Lakers. According to a report, the Los Angeles Lakers have already been in contact with the Washington Wizards about potentially trading for Kyle Kuzma.

Today, one of Kyle Kuzma’s tweets went viral as many people thought it was connected to the Los Angeles Lakers and their pursuit of him. Kuzma’s Tweet shows appreciation for the “California breeze,” and it is easy to see why people had the impression that they did over this Tweet.

Nothing like getting off the plane and that California breeze hit you 🌴

Some NBA stars ended up reacting to Kyle Kuzma’s Tweet as well, and it is clear that NBA stars also think that this Tweet may be connected to the Los Angeles Lakers and their trade interest in Kyle Kuzma. Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young both joked that this Tweet was tampering. Obviously, it is unclear what the intention of the Tweet actually was.

Basically 😂😂

It remains to be seen if the Los Angeles Lakers do end up trading for Kyle Kuzma in the future. He would certainly help them on both ends of the floor, and Kuzma is also a player that knows what it takes to win at the highest level. The Lakers will have some competition, though, as Kyle Kuzma has been linked to the Knicks and the Kings as well.

The Los Angeles Lakers Have Other Trade Targets

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers are exploring a number of other trades aside from Kyle Kuzma, and a recent report suggested that they are targeting three players, including Detroit Pistons sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic.

“The Lakers are prioritizing shooting in their conversations with teams, and have discussed packages including salaries and a protected first-round pick for Detroit’s Bojan Bogdanovic, league sources, who were granted anonymity so that they could speak freely, tell The Athletic.

“They’ve also discussed concepts involving New York’s Cam Reddish and Evan Fournier, sources said. With Anthony Davis having an MVP-caliber season and LeBron James turning in another strong campaign, it will be fascinating to monitor how these Lakers approach Feb. 9.”

There are obviously benefits to adding Bojan Bogdanovic, in particular, as he could provide supplementary scoring and spacing for the team. However, Kyle Kuzma is better defensively, and it’ll be interesting to see what the Los Angeles Lakers prioritize.

Hopefully, we will see the Los Angeles Lakers figure out a way to make a better roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. They clearly have some options, and perhaps we’ll see them make a move ahead of the trade deadline this year.
