Kyrie Irving has given his fans a promising update on his new shoe deal. Ever since Nike parted ways with him, this has become a big question around the league.

Many big brands like Puma and Adidas reportedly reached out to Kyrie to try to work on a deal, but so far, nothing has happened with the 2016 NBA champion. During today’s Instagram Live session, Irving revealed when and where he’ll announce his new deal, as per League Alerts.

The player didn’t hide his excitement about this, teasing fans with what is coming.

“I’m really excited,” the 31-year-old said, via TMZ. “I will be signing my new shoe deal very, very soon. I’m ’bout to blow this stuff out the water. I’m so excited about it.”

Kyrie Irving lost many deals when he shared an antisemite movie on social media, which caused the Brooklyn Nets to suspend him and some of his sponsors to cut ties with the talented player.

Nike was one of them, and Kyrie’s shoes were sold at a very low price before they ran out of stock. The player kept using these shoes but he covered the Nike logo to avoid any legal issues.

Now, he’s free to sign a new deal with the company that better fits his vision. Kyrie was one of the biggest sneaker sellers at Nike, and after he left the company, things were different. The guy they replaced Kyrie with, Ja Morant, has also been involved in controversy and Nike recently removed all his shoes from their website.

This is a big thing for Nike now, who remain strong, but still trying to find a player who can make up for the money they lost for letting Irving go.

Kyrie Irving Lost His Contract With Nike After His Antisemite Controversy

Last year, Kyrie shared an antisemite movie on Twitter that raised many eyebrows around the league. The point guard defended himself saying he respected all races and religions, but that didn’t prevent him from getting suspended by the Nets.

Nike also cut ties with him, which led us to this situation. Irving is about to make a big announcement and when he does it, all of his fans will be ready to back him up and buy his new shoes.
