- Kyrie Irving took to social media to show off his new look
- The 31-year-old was quite pleased and amazed at the same time
- The Dallas Mavericks guard will be key in the team’s 2023-24 season
Kyrie Irving is spending his offseason getting a new makeover. He switched from his usual bearded look to a goatie and he was in splits admiring his own new look.
In a clip that went viral on social media, Irving was seen observing his goatee and having a laugh while at it. The video also had fans sharing their two cents on his new do.
“Bro, this is by far one of the funniest looks I’ve ever had. This shit is crazy, bro. Goatee Kai, you heard? That’s my new nickname. Peak handsomeness, peak handsomeness. Goatee Kai.”

His new look aside, the focus will be on Kyrie Irving and his chemistry with Luka Doncic in the 2023-24 season. Last year, the two combined to play sizzling offense, but the lack of support on the defensive end hampered the team’s run as they failed to make the playoffs.
Irving was prolific for the Mavericks averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks in his 20 games with the franchise.
Kyrie Irving Has Had A Busy Offseason
Kyrie Irving has been spending his offseason being the agent of social change that he is. From sharing his thoughts on overreliance on technology to corrupt governments, the mercurial guard has been active on social media.
In addition, he pulled up to the Drew League and even an exhibition game later on after inking his deal to leave fans stunned with his skilled balling abilities.
On the season front, reposing their faith in the 31-year-old, the Mavericks gave Irving a three-year, $126 million deal, and not everyone was pleased with the deal. But if he indeed plays a majority of the season, Dallas will surely be prime playoff contenders.
With his sights firmly set on another championship — what will be his second if he indeed wins it, Irving will be one of the stars key in helping Dallas win another championship after last winning it in the Dirk Nowitzki era. Safe to say, there’s a lot riding on the guard this season.
