As he prepares to suit up in his first-ever NBA All-Star game, Devin Booker has the whole league on notice.
Averaging 26 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game, Book is among the best scorers in the NBA and the de-facto leader of the Suns.
On Sunday, Lakers coach Frank Vogel will get the chance to coach him in the All-Star Game, and he spoke very highly of the young shooting guard, comparing him to 3x Champion, Klay Thompson.

Scoring wise, there really isn’t anything Booker can’t do. He can shoot from three, drive to the rim, score off the dribble, and make shots off the catch-and-shoot. He famously scored a whopping 70 points during the 2016-17 season against the Boston Celtics. The sky is really the limit for him when it comes to racking up buckets.
On the other end is where the comparison to Klay comes apart. Book has always struggled to guard his opponents and is often criticized for his efforts on that end of the floor.
Nonetheless, Vogel sees some serious potential in him. Whether or not he’s able to live up to it, though, remains to be seen.
