Lakers Fans Are Pissed At Danny Green After He Misses Clutch Three-Pointer In Game 5 Loss

1 Min Read

Having made about $14 million from the Lakers this season, Danny Green is the third highest-paid player on the roster. Unfortunately, he hasn’t played like it. He has played well below his standards since the NBA restart began, and Lakers Nation has been demanding more from him for months now.

All of those feelings seemed to have boiled over tonight when Green bricked yet another three late in the fourth quarter of Game 5.

A quick look at the timeline will tell you just how pissed off Lakers fans are, as they’ve been roasting him endlessly on Twitter…

It was a rough night for the Lakers, but Green is definitely getting the worst of it and he probably shouldn’t bother opening social media for a while. Fans have clearly had enough of his offensive struggles.

The hope is, however, that DG can get right in time for Game 6 because the Lakers could sure use him against this gritty, never-quit Heat team. We’ll see how he answers on Sunday.
