LaMelo Ball Launches Incredibly Expensive Clothing Brand

2 Min Read

You can say whatever you want about the Ball family but there’s one thing for sure: They know how to make money. They know how to make the most of their exposure, and they won’t hesitate to make everybody pay big bucks just to roll with them.

That’s why it wasn’t a surprise to see that LaMelo Ball – the youngest brother of the Ball household and a projected top-3 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, decided to follow his father’s LaVar footsteps by launching his very own clothing brand.

And, in pure Ball fashion, LaMelo’s brand “LaFrance” features astronomically high prices for every single item, with shirts going from $70 and most hoodies from $120 up. More impressively, all items are supposed to be at a discount because of their release.

Let’s not ignore the fact that LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand was a major failure after a couple of years, but he did manage to get a bunch load of money from young kids wanting to rock Lonzo Ball’s signature shoes.

Now, LaMelo made sure to not make the same mistakes as his older brother, as he moved on from BBB to sign an endorsement deal with Puma ahead of his transition to the NBA. Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with the Ball patriarch.

While it’s great to see young businessmen thrive with their endeavors, it’s also clear that LaMelo Ball’s focus should entirely be his basketball career right now. There’s no denying his talent but there are still some question marks about his ability to thrive with the pros.

But hey, we know that if basketball doesn’t work out for him, he can still make a living out of his very expensive and exclusive clothing line.
