LaMelo Ball Wants To Play With His Brother Lonzo In Charlotte

2 Min Read

With Lonzo Ball hitting free agency this offseason, he’s been linked with plenty of teams around the league. The talented point guard has improved his game over the past two seasons, becoming one of the most coveted names in the upcoming free market.

It seems like everybody started working to recruit this man, and even his brother is working on it. LaMelo Ball just finished his first season with the Charlotte Hornets, playing in the play-in tournament, winning the ROY award.

His sophomore season will bring more challenges, and Melo is getting ready for that. He announced he won’t use No. 2 any longer, offering the jersey to his brother Lonzo. From now on, Melo will wear No. 1.

Nobody has the Hornets as a potential destination for Lonzo, but anything can happen in the NBA. Last year, LaVar Ball claimed Michael Jordan could win a championship if he brought Melo, Zo, and LiAngelo, the third Ball brother, to Charlotte.

He doubled down on those comments in March, and now this possibility might become a reality. Moreover, Gelo was spotted working out with Hornets players, using the team’s gear, so this is not as crazy as it sounds.

Still, a lot needs to happen before we see the Balls teaming up at Spectrum Center. If this happened, LaVar would be the king of the world, but that’s not likely right now.
