LaVar Ball recently opened up on his sons LaMelo and LiAngelo’s current relationships, with the former dating Ana Montana while the latter is with Nikki Mudarris.
Firstly, LaVar praised Montana for always being there for LaMelo. There have been concerns raised regarding the age gap between the two, but Ball also explained why dating a 34-year-old woman is ideal for his 22-year-old son.
“Now, the woman that Melo has, Ana, I like her, love her,” Ball said on Vlad TV. “Everybody is stuck on that thing like, ‘Oh, she’s so old, he’s so young.’ … I kind of made Melo do that on the fact that he always played up six or seven years. So he a little more older than what he actually is, so of course he not gonna pick the girlfriend type from high school. He gonna gravitate toward a woman… every time Melo need her to do something, she there. She ain’t trying to go to the club.”
LaVar shared how Montana is always by LaMelo’s side and she was there with him after he fractured his ankle. The 56-year-old then spoke glowingly about Mudarris, who has a baby named LaVelo with LiAngelo. LaVar explained she isn’t with his son for money, as her own family is incredibly rich.
“Nikki, oh my god I love her,” LaVar stated. “I’m like, ‘Gelo, how many girls have you had where you go to their house?’ This is the only one. They got their own spot in Beverly Hills… her parents own some strip clubs.”

Vlad mentioned they owned strip clubs on Sunset and LaVar confirmed it. He also spoke about how Mudarris and her family have taught LiAngelo about business.
He thinks his sons are very fortunate to have found women like Montana and Mudarris. LaVar had once infamously stated that his sons would never get to marry a good woman, but it appears these two have certainly proven him wrong.
Who Is Ana Montana?
Montana was born on October 9, 1989, in New Bedford, Massachusetts and her real name is actually Analicia Chaves. She graduated from Bedford High School in 2008 and two years later, began her modeling career with Louis Model Management.
After putting in a lot of hard work, Montana managed to make a name for herself and is currently a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova. It isn’t completely clear when she started dating LaMelo, but the two made their relationship public in June earlier this year.
Not only does Montana support LaMelo with regard to his personal life and basketball career, but his businesses as well. She has modeled for his clothing brand, LaFrance, and these two just seem to be going from strength to strength.
Who Is Nikki Mudarris?
Mudarris was born on June 28, 1990, in Los Angeles, California and she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication in 2014 from the University of Southern California.
Mudarris rose to fame when she appeared as a supporting character in seasons 1 and 2 of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”. She then became a main member from seasons 3 to 5, after which she again took on a supporting role for the final two seasons.
After her reality TV career, Mudarris became a realtor and now works for Watson Salari Group. She and LiAngelo crossed paths when they were walking their dogs at Runyon Canyon and three weeks later, she confessed her love to him. They have been going strong since then and welcomed their first child LaVelo on July 19, 2023.
