LaVar Ball believes Bronny James would be better off taking the same route as his son LaMelo Ball and head off to Australia.

Ball, speaking to Sporting News had a piece of advice. “It’s better over here. Why? Because you playing against grown men and you getting paid,” Ball opined. “If you want to play basketball and you really that dude, why am I sitting in class trying to pass a chemistry test? I don’t want to play no chemistry. I don’t want to practice no Spanish.”

He further added: “I want to wake up, go practice, go back to sleep, go practice, have a game, practice. That’s all I want to do. I don’t wanna be like, ‘Hey, I’ll meet you in the student union for study hall.'”

It should be noted that Bronny is regarded as the highest-profile high school player in 2023 and is speculated to take the college route — a move that his father had no issue with.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” LeBron James told The Oregonian. “All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.” Bronny has been linked to Ohio State, Oregon, and USC.

Bronny James Is The Highest NIL Earner In The Country

He may not have entered college yet, or the NBA, but Bronny James is still the highest Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) earner in the country with an estimated $7.2 million.

There’s never a doubt that Bronny has the necessary skills and the game to be the NBA. He has already proved that he has what it takes to be a high IQ and a high-level role player in the league. At the time of writing, Bronny is a five-star recruit now, and hopefully, he ends up at a college that can help him get better before the league.

With teams looking at players who can play on both ends of the floor, Bronny fits the bill perfectly. He’s still on a learning curve and there’s no telling what his ceiling is, but for now, he’s one of the players with the caliber to be a star player. And maybe the father-son duo could listen a bit more to what Ball has to offer.
