LeBron James Heartbroken After Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury: “WTF.”

In what has been a crazy, injury-riddled season, the Milwaukee Bucks were one of the few healthy teams remaining.

That was, of course, until Game 4 of the Eastern Finals, when the Greek Freak went down with a scary knee injury, which was later diagnosed as a hyperextension.

Many around the league expressed major concern and disappointment, including LeBron James, who tweeted out the following after Antetokounmpo went down:

Giannis has become just the latest in a long line of superstars to suffer an injury this season. LeBron James Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and countless more have all missed time, leading to a postseason that just feels different.

Nevertheless, it’s got to be the next man up for the Bucks. Injuries are why depth and chemistry are so important, and this will be a chance for the Bucks to show what they can do without their superstar (assuming he misses Game 5).

In the future, though, the league should really look at what might be causing all of these injuries. No doubt, the shortened offseason, and condensed schedule have something to do with it, but there could be something more.

Either way, all we can do as fans is watch and hope for the best.
