LeBron James On How To Stop Steph Curry: “You Can’t”

No two players have been more synonymous with the NBA than Steph Curry and LeBron James. The two players have been the dominant forces in the league for a long time.

Between 2012 and 2018, LeBron James and Steph Curry won 6 out of the 7 and the NBA championships. The two also faced off with each other in the NBA Finals for 4 consecutive years between 2015 and 2018.

Curry and LeBron have been the faces of the league during the 2010s. While ‘Bron is considered the greatest of his generation, Curry is equally revered, credited for revolutionizing basketball and the NBA.

The two have been going back and forth for the title of the best players in the NBA for quite some time. On their day, neither player can be stopped from getting what they want. 

Last season, both curry and LeBron were in the running for league MVP. And their encounter during the NBA’s Play-In tournament was an absolute classic and gave fans a true clash of the titans. 

Whether you’re team Curry or team LeBron, one fact is absolutely undeniable; the two will go down as two of the greatest players in the history of the league. Their stranglehold atop the NBA throne is unlikely to ever be matched.

But can either player stop each other? Well, LeBron doesn’t think so. In an interview from a few years ago, LeBron James was asked how one goes about stopping Steph Curry. He said that just like himself, Curry cannot be stopped.

“Same way you slow me down. You can’t.”

LeBron and Curry’s rivalry has been one of the defining features of the NBA in the last decade. And given how talented they are, they have created an entire split in the fanbase of the entire league, with fans picking their star and backing them.
