It was the same old story for the Los Angeles Lakers during their most recent matchup against the Sacramento Kings. The game was pretty close but after the final whistle, the Lakers ended up being a few points short of winning the game.

LeBron James continued his great form as he recorded 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in a 111-116 loss. Following the game, the Lakers fans were pissed and reached the conclusion that the current roster of the team is simply not talented enough.

With this tough loss, the Lakers now have a record of 20-25 and remain the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

LeBron James’ Message For His Teammates After Tough Loss Against The Kings

This season, the Los Angeles Lakers have lost several games by small margins. While some of those games were due to questionable calls given by the referees, in some, the Lakers simply made costly mistakes.

Keeping that in mind, LeBron James’ message during the postgame conference was around the team having zero room for error if they want to win games.

“We are definitely a ball club that has a zero room for error. And tonight, I thought we played a pretty good game. Once again, we only had seven turnovers. It’s nine turnovers in two games, that is amazing. … We have to continue to play how we played the last couple of games. Trying to play mistake-free basketball.”

During his answer, James pointed out several times that the Lakers need to continue playing mistake-free basketball, and the team has zero room for errors. As LeBron mentioned, in the last few games, the Lakers have done that, and he hopes the team can continue to do just that.

If the Lakers can keep playing at this level, maybe when Anthony Davis returns to the roster, they can go on a solid winning streak and sneak into the playoffs.
