The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, and there is no doubt that this was a tough loss for the franchise. However, it seems as though superstar LeBron James is already hard at work and trying to make sure the team is ready to compete for a championship next year.

Recently, LeBron James posted a video of his workout with trainer Chris Johnson on his Instagram story. In the Instagram story, James also mentioned that a “prime time year” is coming for him in season 21.

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers need LeBron James to be dominant next season if they are to win the championship. Though he is clearly not the same player that he was in his prime, there’s no doubt that he’s still an All-NBA level performer that can have a high impact.

This past season with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James averaged 28.9 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 6.8 APG. It is insane what he can do on the court, even at 38 years of age, and we’ll see how LeBron James ends up doing this season.

LeBron James Can Still Be A Dominant Scorer With The Lakers

LeBron James notably broke the all-time scoring record with the Los Angeles Lakers last season, but it is clear from his career that scoring isn’t even his main strength. In fact, his former coach Ty Lue suggested that LeBron James could drop 50 in any game if he wanted to.

“Listen bro… he (LeBron) can score 50 anytime he wants,” said Lue. “He just loves to play the game the right way but sometimes the right way is getting 50. He can do that every night and I pushed that button.”

The reason that LeBron James is a dynamic player is due to his ability to do everything on the court, and his unselfish mentality. He is a pass-first player at heart, but there is no doubt that he can get buckets against anyone on any given night.
