For 20 years, LeBron James has dominated the NBA. No player in history has had the longevity that James has over his career.

James debuted in the NBA in 2003 and immediately established himself as one of the best players in the world at the age of 18. Fast forward 20 years later, James, at the age of 38, is still one of the best players on the planet. And he reminded fans of how long he has been around with an incredible flashback.

LeBron James took to Instagram to share a picture of himself 20 years apart. The first picture of him, taken at WWE Monday Night Raw in 2003, shows him holding a flip phone, taking a picture of the action in the ring. The next picture showed James at the Inter Miami game, holding up his iPhone to take a picture of Lionel Messi, whom he was there to support as he made his MLS debut.

James’ longevity can be perfectly understood from this picture and the technology available to him in both. James has been in the NBA since when flip-phones were the latest devices on the market, and now, 20 years later, LeBron is still dominating the league, and doing it holding an iPhone 14.
