LeBron James Was Under Big Pressure When He Was In High School: “If You’re Not A First Ballot Hall Of Famer, You’re Gonna Be Considered A Bust.”

LeBron James is now one of the best NBA players of all time after having a terrific career in the association. The King has exceeded the expectations and is now considered at least one of the best three players in NBA history. He has played with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, winning titles with each team, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest to ever do it.

What is most impressive about this is that James was carrying a big responsibility since his high school days. He was arguably the most hyped prospect in NBA history, with all the pressure that such a position brings, but James managed everything like the champion he’s always been and now is one of the most honored players of all time. Bron has carried a big pressure on his shoulder since he was still a teenager.

Back in the day, he was told that he was going to be a bust if he didn’t enter the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. During an interview in 2003, James was asked how he felt with all that pressure and he delivered a classy reply.

“I’m not looking into the future,” James said. “I always go by, I take every moment at the time because you’re not promised tomorrow, and that’s what my mom brought me upon and I always say I just try to get better every day at what I do.”

Bron doubled down those comments, reminding everybody that it’s one day at a time.

“Take it 1 day at a time no matter how EXTREME the expectations they put on you before day 1 even starts.”

With that mindset, Bron has come a long way, becoming the face of the NBA and one of the most influential players of all time. He knew he was meant for greatness and never rested until he fulfilled his dream. Now he’s considered one of the greatest players in NBA history and everything started when he decided to get better regardless of other people’s opinions. He talked like a young King and acted like it when he made it to the NBA.

Even ESPN’s Max Kellerman, somebody who isn’t fond of LeBron James, recognized that the King was great and acted as a great player since his high school days. Nothing but respect here.
