Lonzo Ball Reacts To Trade Rumors: “I Just Try To Stay Away From All The Noise”

2 Min Read

Lonzo Ball has been linked with several teams in recent times and nobody knows what will happen with him from here until the trade deadline. The point guard has been surrounded by criticism over the past couple of seasons but he seems to be finding his touch this one, having good games with the New Orleans Pelicans.

That has apparently raised his stocks around the league, with plenty of teams reportedly interested in his services. Ball is aware of that but he tries not to pay much attention to everything people say, as his only focus is playing well for his current team. After the Pelicans upset the Milwaukee Bucks behind Lonzo’s 27 points, the young player opened up about this situation.

“I just stay the course,” Ball said when asked if he had any extra motivation this week, via Andrew Lopez of ESPN. “I’ve been playing basketball for a long time. I put a lot of work in and just try to play my game. That’s how I play. I just try to stay away from all the noise and just go out there and try to help my team win games.”

Over the past couple of days, plenty of teams have shown interest in the player, including the Knicks, Raptors, and Mavericks, as well as the Clippers and Bulls. This man is getting better this campaign and he can make a good addition to any team that unlocks negotiation with the Pelicans this season.
