When it comes to the NBA, Michael Jordan is considered as the GOAT. The Chicago Bulls legend achieved a lot during his playing career. From winning MVPs to leading the team to NBA titles, MJ did it all.

What’s even more impressive is the fact that he did it all while being the most dominant player in the league at the time. While Mike won six NBA Championships during his career, many believe he could have won more had he not retired during the peak of his career.

After winning the first three rings of his career, MJ retired for the first time in his career and took a two-year break. He tried his luck in baseball but soon became one of the 10 NBA players who returned to the league after retiring.

On the same note, after playing football for 22 seasons, the GOAT of the NFL, Tom Brady, announced his retirement. But within two months, Brady announced his return for the 23rd season of his career.

Both MJ and Brady are synonymous with success in their respective sports. So it makes sense that Mike was the one who appeared in a commercial to welcome back Brady once again.

“I was away from the game for almost two years. He didn’t make two months. But you know what that tells me? How much he wants it. How much he needs it. TB12, season 23. He is back.”

Michael Jordan And Tom Brady Once Played Basketball Together

Earning respect from MJ is easily one of the most difficult tasks for any athlete. But TB12 certainly earned Mike’s respect. It is also evident from the fact that Brady and Jordan once casually played a pick-up game.

The two GOATs can be seen enjoying playing some basketball for fun. But when you’re on a team with Mike, it’s never about just playing for fun.

We are sure MJ would have given Brady an earful whenever he messed up. That’s just who Jordan is at the end of the day. Anyway, let’s hope Brady can give fans some more memorable moments in his surprise return to the NFL.
