Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Reveals He Beat MJ In 1-On-1, But Lost The Immediate Rematch

2 Min Read

Michael Jordan has to be the greatest competitor in the world of sports. His Airness always showed a desire to succeed, to beat his rivals and humiliate them. You can think that was only his facet on the court, but MJ was competitive in every aspect of his life, doing anything to win against anybody, no matter how little the prize was.

His son Marcus has delivered a story that describes MJ and his competitiveness perfectly, as he didn’t let anything or anybody go beating him. Marcus talked with TMZ Sports recently, sharing the most Michael Jordan story ever. One time he faced and beat his father one-on-one, which triggered that killer instinct inside Jordan to beat his own son.

“I had a quick victory,” Marcus said. “I can’t remember the score, but I did win. He ran it right back and he obviously won on me and it was over. He really didn’t play too much after that.”

That’s classic Jordan right there. This man could look for anything to get motivation or even make things up, as we saw in ‘The Last Dance’ with the LaBradford Smith story to get that spark going to beat you mercilessly. That’s Michael Jordan; not even his kids are safe from his win-at-all-cost personality.
