It’s not a secret that Klay Thompson loves to hang out in his boat. He’s always live on Instagram enjoying the view, having a nice time, and reaching out to his fans.
The thing is that, apparently, Thompson wasn’t exactly law-abiding when it came to his beloved boat. According to Mike Brown, he was parking the boat everywhere and he had to hook him up with a parking spot so he could avoid trouble.
“I had to try to do that because he was doing it illegally,” said the Warriors coach. “I don’t even know what else to say on it. He was parking his boat anywhere. I’m like, ‘dude, you can’t just pull up and park your boat anywhere.’ And he was like, ‘what are you talking about?’”
“And I’m like, ‘Klay, people pay for these spots and slips and all this other stuff.’ Long story short, he started parking his boat over at the ramp and I know the people over there at the ramp. Now that’s his spot. He just pulls his boat up, parks there, walks across the street, and goes to work,” Brown said of the Warriors star.

That’s just classic Klay Thompson right there. He just wants to have a good time and doesn’t care about those little details. He’s just chilling.
There’s no doubt that Thompson is one of the biggest characters in the league, and that’s just one of the many reasons why his teammates have always loved him.
Now, it’s just a matter of time before we see them out there on the court once again, which could mean that he’ll have less time to drive around the Bay in his boat.
At least, he’ll have a place to park it and stay out of trouble.
