Montrezl Harrell Flames Solomon Hill Over Play That Injured LeBron James

2 Min Read

Without Anthony Davis, LeBron James was doing all he could to keep the Lakers from drowning in the wild and wacky Western Conference.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, James is now also dealing with issues after suffering a “severe” right ankle sprain on Saturday afternoon.

Bron was clearly frustrated as he left the court, leaving many Lakers fans worried that it’s worse than originally thought. While X-rays did come back negative, there’s no real way to know the severity or the timetable of his return at this moment.

After the game, though, Montrezl Harrell spoke about the play that took LeBron down, saying Solomon Hill’s dive for the ball should have been more than a common foul.

The move didn’t seem intentional, but whether or not it was necessary is definitely up for debate. The refs didn’t see it as anything more than a regular foul, but clearly some believe otherwise.

The Lakers ended up losing their game against the Hawks, calling into question how much they’ll be able to do without both of their stars. No doubt, this will be a tough stretch for them.

But, hopefully, the Lakers will be able to bounce back upon the return of their heroes. If there is anyone, after all, who is capable of bouncing back amid challenging times, it’s LeBron James.
