Dell Curry On LaMelo Ball: “He’s A Different Breed…”

1 Min Read

LaMelo Ball has been turning a lot of heads with his play so far. The 19-year-old guard has emerged as a scoring expert and budding star in the NBA, averaging 16 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.9 rebounds per game on 45.3% shooting.

In a recent interview with Rex Champman, basketball legend, and former Sixth Man of the Year, Dell Curry gave him some glowing praise, calling him a “different breed.”

Despite being a rookie with just 40 games under his belt, Melo has become a leader for Hornets and a voice in the locker room.

Curry is just the latest in a long list of players who have shown him some love — a list that includes LeBron James, Steph, Draymond Green, Michael Jordan, and Donovan Mitchell.

Obviously, he still has some strides to make before he can be considered among the league elites, but he’s winning over a lot of people — and certainly looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
