Josh Hart’s quirky tweet had fans in splits, and it came on the back of the Portland Trail Blazers’ 134-124 win against the Utah Jazz.

It wasn’t exactly a good outing for Hart, as he exited the game with soreness in his right hamstring after playing for nine minutes. He didn’t have any points to show for it but did collect a couple of rebounds and an assist in the meantime.

The Blazers rode on Damian Lillard’s dominant 60-point performance to seal a win for Portland. However, it was his rather funny tweet that did the rounds on social media, with fans interacting and sharing their two cents.

My wife slapped the shit outta me last night cause I was smiling in my sleep…

On the season front, Hart will have a chance to take the court against the San Antonio Spurs next, and maybe that’s all the more reason for him to smile.

How Has Josh Hart Fared This Season?

At the time of writing, Hart averages 9.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists this season. His name has been doing the rounds on the trade market.

According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe on the latest edition of the Lowe Post podcast, the forward is one of the players considered to be one of the “hot names” ahead of the February 9 trade deadline. He added that the Miami Heat was one of the interested parties.

“Josh Hart is a name that is very, very hot right now. A lot of teams would like Josh Hart. I think Miami will probably express some interest in Josh Hart. He’s a Heat guy. Heat kinda guy.” – @ZachLowe_NBA

Hart has proved to be a reliable asset and started 45 games for the Blazers this season, but such has been the team’s run that they might look at trading some of their assets for an upgrade.

Portland is currently placed 12th in the West with a 23-25 record and will look to make the playoff push as they enter the second half of the season with less than .500 against their name. Whether Hart remains in their future plans, though, remains to be seen.
