Myles Turner Delivers An Epic Comeback To Fan Who Asks Him For $100 For “Losing Us The Game”

1 Min Read

It’s pretty common for NBA fans to be critical of players, especially after a poor performance. Most of the time, these players ignore the hate, as dealing with it is just a part of the job.

Every once in a while, though, the player will respond — and those instances usually make for some entertaining moments.

Pacers big man Myles Turner is the recent star to fire back after he received a request by an angry fan for “losing the game” against the Bulls. Instead of sending back the cash amount requested ($100), Turner sent a penny, along with a short message: “a penny for your thoughts.”

Myles did follow up with the fan after he posted on Twitter.

There have been a lot of these exchanges over the years, but Turner gets some props here for his creativity — and even more so for what happened afterward.

All-in-all, it’s a great moment from Turner, who was able to turn a sour exchange with a fan into something positive. Hopefully, others follow in his footsteps.
