Bronny collapsed on the court and had a cardiac arrest on the 24th of July during a practice session with USC. The incident sent shockwaves throughout the basketball world, but the 18-year-old has made a strong recovery and is fine now.

He accompanied his father here on bobblehead night, with the Dodgers honoring the Los Angeles Lakers superstar by giving away LeBron bobbleheads. The Dodgers won the game 3-1 too, to improve to 76-47 on the season.

Bronny James’ Basketball Career Won’t Be Affected By This Health Scare

While Bronny’s safety was definitely at the forefront of everyone’s mind when the news broke, there was one other question that did pop up. What about his career as a basketball player? Obviously, cardiac arrest is no minor matter, and regularly playing a sport as intense as basketball while having heart issues would be a big risk.

Well, we got an update on that front from his good friend Shareef O’Neal, son of Shaquille O’Neal. Shareef stated that Bronny’s cardiac arrest won’t affect his future basketball career at all and stated that he is doing good, as we see from this clip too. LeBron certainly wouldn’t allow his son to go through with it if it wasn’t completely safe, which makes you believe the teenager will be just fine.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
