Despite being exposed for his potential involvement with an underage girl, the Thunder are refusing to take disciplinary action and have confirmed that Giddey will be available for tonight’s game against the 76ers.
“He’s available to play, will play, no change in status from a basketball standpoint, no comment on anything else,” said head coach Mark Daigneault. “That’s the decision we’ve made with the information we have at this point. It’s really not even a decision, to be honest with you.”

Even after a few days to think about it, both Diagneault and the Thunder organization are doubling down on their support for Giddey and there is a sense that they must know something that the public doesn’t about the clarity of his innocence. If not, and the NBA finds that Josh is guilty of all that he’s being accused of, it could have some drastic implications for the team.
