NBA Fans Are Pissed Off After Channing Frye Made A Shocking Statement About Michael Jordan

2 Min Read

Channing Frye has made the headlines in recent hours and not precisely for good reasons. The retired forward has a clear stance on Michael Jordan and he doesn’t hesitate to show his opinion on Twitter, although he raises a lot of eyebrows while doing so.

It’s not a secret that MJ is the most discussed topic in the league right now after his 10-part documentary ‘The Last Dance’ debuted last April and everybody wants to give their take on Jordan and his NBA career. Frye, for instance, doesn’t think Jordan’s game would be effective in today’s NBA while making it clear that he wasn’t a ‘Jordan guy’.

“I’m not a Jordan “guy”. I feel like shooting post up mods range twos wouldn’t translate in today’s game. People got hot, luckily I HAVE time to give attention to triggered fans. Lol,” he wrote on Twitter.

Kendrick Perkins was one of the few, if not the only one, to agree with Frye, sneaking LeBron James’ name and stating not everybody sees Jordan as the GOAT.

Jamal Crawford also chimed in, saying Frye was just ‘trolling.’

Moreover, that didn’t sit well with fans, who didn’t hesitate to show their disagreement with Frye’s words.

This guy has gotten used to making bold claims, and this one wasn’t the exception. Jordan is not a regular player. He’s one that would be dominating in any era. As fans said, there are players who have a similar style of play and are successful in today’s league.
