Luka Doncic is the best thing that has happened to the Dallas Mavericks since the retirement of their previous franchise superstar, Dirk Nowitzki. After spending just a few seasons in the league, Doncic has already established himself as one of the best players in the league.
This season, Doncic is even in talks about winning the first MVP award of his career. But at the time, his chances are getting hindered due to the Mavericks having a 24-21 record and being in the fifth spot in the Western Conference.
Keeping that in mind, a few days ago, a fan made a ‘Please Send Help’ mural in hopes of the front office taking action and surrounding Luka with better players. But instead, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took offense to it and called the mural disrespectful.
“It’s disrespectful,” Cuban wrote in an email to Pannek, which the artist shared with Mavs Moneyball. “But it’s your choice to do what you want. If that’s the way you want to be a fan. Go for it.”
“I find it an odd way that he handled the emails the way that he did,” Pannek said. “He could have easily just invited me down to a game and talked about this if he was really that upset that he seems to be. But he took it a different way.”
The artist of the viral mural Preston Pannek shared the email, and it certainly looks like Cuban took it the wrong way.

Luka Doncic is a fan favorite, and the fanbase of the Mavericks certainly loved Pannek’s mural, despite Cuban labeling it as disrespectful.

Upon seeing this news, Mavericks fans were pissed off at Cuban and called him out in various ways on Twitter.

Mavericks fans lashed out at Cuban and called him disrespectful for not getting Doncic any help, even though he has been doing everything in his power to keep the team competitive. If this continues, Doncic may end up leaving the team. Hopefully, Cuban realizes that before it’s too late.
