Kevin Durant seems to have a knack for joining the best teams in the NBA. After leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, KD decided to take his talents to the 73-9 Golden State Warriors. Which, in all honesty, ruined the balance of the league for a couple of years.
Following his stint with the Dubs, Durant decided to form a super team with Kyrie Irving and James Harden while donning the jersey of the Brooklyn Nets. Unlike his tenure with the Warriors, Durant couldn’t win even a single ring with the Nets.
Now, KD has once again decided to start another new chapter of his career at the age of 33. He has requested a trade out of the Brooklyn Nets months after signing a four-year contract with the franchise.
That’s not the surprising part. Many had predicted this could happen after Harden forced a trade this season and Kyrie Irving missed a lot of games. But what they didn’t expect was that KD would name his two preferred destinations, the respective number one seeds of the Western and Eastern Conference.
Yes, KD wants out of Brooklyn and wants to join either the Phoenix Suns or the Miami Heat. It feels like Durant is once again ready to take on the role of villain in the NBA. But that doesn’t matter to the Suns or Heat fans.

Regardless of the team that he decided to join between them, he is thinking about forming the brand new Big 3 in the NBA. Upon hearing that, fans have already started to debate which potentially Big 3 will be better, given KD gets his wish fulfilled.
Jimmy almost single-handily took the Heat to the finals and you add one of the greatest scorers in history in KD in the frame with Bam being a top 3 defender in the league.
Miami’s big 3 would be unstoppable.

Definitely not the team that crumbled at home in a GM 7. Jimmy showed he's not afraid of the moment he just needs help. And nobody on Phoenix is a better defender than Bam

Yeah bc the Heat are gonna get KD for Tyler Herro and one of the worst contracts in 🏀 in Dunc Rob. Please delete this.

Neither. Realistic destinations are the pelicans, Memphis, portland

Suns owner is cheap, they don’t even want to keep deandre Ayton. They have to put booker in which they won’t. So Miami has to trade jimmy and piece plus a pick or two

Heat. Because they actually won together
All superteams on paper claim they're the best but never win
Nets had KD, Kyrie and Harden but couldn't pull it together.
Until a championship is won it's nothing but hype.

right, left would choke

Jimmy is already a top 10 player and bam is a top 3 defender in the league this shouldn’t be a question

KD is so good the Suns wud be the best offensive team & the heat wud b the best defensive team.

Miami looks more balanced and deadly on both ends.
Plus that Suns big 3 isn’t likely since Brooklyn is demanding Booker in return

It’s not going to be easy. But I would like KD to run it in Phoenix to keep the leagacy of LBJ in Miami

Most fans believe that if KD actually gets traded to the Heat, that Big 3 will be better than the Suns’ Big 3.
But the catch is that neither of the two teams can realistically trade for KD without giving up at least one of their stars. After all, Durant is one of the best players in NBA history and has four years left on his contract.
