As NBA fans, we like to imagine hypothetical scenarios for our favorite teams. Who wouldn’t want to see two or three big names defending our colors and competing for an NBA championship?
However, sometimes people take things a little too far and start imagining things that will never happen. Recently, fans went crazy went somebody proposed a trade that would send Kyrie Irving to the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to Mock Trades, Andre Drummond, Dennis Schroder, and the 2027 first-round pick would do the job for the Lakers in an imaginary scenario. Well, that idea didn’t sit well with people, who quickly called them out for having no respect for Kyrie.

The NBA community is ruthless when they see these types of things. That’s a very low price for Kyrie, regardless of how he’s seen around the league right now. Moreover, who would think he’d like to go to Los Angeles to play with LeBron James? They haven’t had the best relationship since their Cleveland Cavaliers days, so this is highly unlikely.
However, other teams could make an offer for the point guard, especially after rumors suggested the Nets could hear what other franchises have to offer for the 29-year-old playmaker.
The Los Angeles Lakers have recently been linked with several point guards, including Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook. As incredible as it sounds, those two would be likelier to arrive in Los Angeles than Kyrie.
