For some, it was all about James not lying.

It’s worth noting that there are quite a few NBA superstars who are without verified checks on Twitter. And LeBron James may have one to his name, but he’s unlikely to be using it anytime soon given his focus on the playoffs.

LeBron James Will Be Gunning For Payback Against The Memphis Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers went down 103-93 in Game 2 of the first-round playoff matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, and to make matters worse, Dillon Brooks was in James’ face.

The Grizzlies guard called him old, while also adding, “I was expecting him to do that Game 4 or Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my 4th foul, he said nothing early on. But you know, I poke bears. I respect no one until they come in and give me 40. So, I pride myself on defense and taking on any challenge.”

The veteran James dropped 28 on Brooks, but it wasn’t enough for the Lakers to get over the line, and safe to say, with or without Ja Morant for Memphis, James, and LA will be keen to get the better of their opposition and move to the next round.

Guess, we’ll know when the next tweet from James will be.
