New York Knicks star Julius Randle was a late addition to the 3-point shooting, but such was his dismal outing that his son Kyden pictured in tears.

Randle replaced Portland Trail Blazers star, Anfernee Simons and ended his stint shooting just 13 points outdoing only Sacramento Kings forward Kevin Huerter.

The forward had to console his son after his forgettable outing. Damian Lillard, who won the contest had a laugh when Randle tried to cheer up Kyden. Hopefully, he can put on a better show when he suits up for the All-Star game.

Kyden’s priceless reaction had fans in splits. While some felt that it was one of the most adorable-yet-heart-wrenching things to have seen, some saw the funny side of it.

Some noted the fact that Randle came into the competition shooting just 33.8 percent from downtown. According to Sports Illustrated, the average 3-point shooting average this season is 36%.

In related news, Randle also expressed his interest to be part of Team LeBron in the All-Star game. He added that it would be a fun thing to do before James calls time on his decorated career.

James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the All-Star captains this year and will be selecting their teams ahead of the clash

“I wanna play with Bron, PG, start with those two. I got a relationship with P and I never played with LeBron, so, it would be fun to do before he gets his old a** outta here.”

The Knicks have been a bonafide contender team under Randle’s leadership this year, and this season, the team is primed to make the playoffs. The forward had earlier said he wants to win a championship with New York. At the time of writing, they are placed sixth in the East with a 32-27 record.
