The Los Angeles Lakers have recently defeated the Utah Jazz 101-95. There’s no doubt that this was a much needed win for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they have snapped a 3-game losing streak and beat a contender at the same time.

LeBron James had a fantastic performance, putting up 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. He got contributions from the rest of the roster as well, with Russell Westbrook and Stanley Johnson both putting up 15 points, and Malik Monk putting up 14 points. This was definitely a team win. There were also some extremely entertaining moments during the game, such as when Russell Westbrook posterized 3-time DPOY Rudy Gobert.

NBA fans reacted to the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Utah Jazz, with many lauding the team for getting a good win against another contender.

Stanley Johnson clearly made an impact this game, and he provides the team with some much needed perimeter defense. Some in the comments have suggested that he needs to be signed for the rest of the season. Perhaps he can be a solid player for them who can just play hard defense on opposing stars and sometimes provide on the offensive end.

We’ll see how well the Los Angeles Lakers do following this win. They have been inconsistent all year, but perhaps this win can serve as a foundation they can build on. We have to remember that Anthony Davis is still out as well, and they’ll be a much better team once he returns.

There have been many that have suggested that the Los Angeles Lakers could put together a run and pull away from their current spot in the standings. That hasn’t yet happened, but there’s still around half a season to play. With the amount of talent the Lakers have, anything is possible, and perhaps we’ll see them start winning more in the coming weeks.
