Here’s a look at the images:

Safe to say, these images are pretty much the start of what the famed game has in store for fans ahead of its release on September 8.

NBA Fans React To The Incredible First-Look Images

On their part, NBA fans couldn’t believe how amazing the graphics looked. And they took to Twitter to share their two cents on the first-look images.

“It’s crazy to see that it looks like 2K graphics has gotten even better,” one of the fans said.

This was seconded by another fan.

LeBron James’ fans were over the moon.

One of the fans believed it was the most accurate version of LeBron James that 2K had ever made.

The “Tuff” tweets weren’t far behind.

Such was the detailing that even James’ stretch marks were highlighted.

Earlier, Kobe Bryant was revealed as their cover player for the edition. This marks the fourth time the late Los Angeles Lakers legend makes the cover of the series.

This edition, he was unveiled as the Black Mamba Edition, and the standard edition, known as the Kobe Bryant Edition. Kobe was already featured in the 2K21’s Mamba Forever Edition, which was made as a homage to his career after his death. Prior to that, he appeared on the cover of the 2K10 and the 2K17.

While much of the game’s features are yet to be released, there is no doubt that the fans will be eager to get their hands on the latest version of the game.
