After donning the No. 6 jersey for the last two seasons, LeBron James has decided to switch back to No. 23 for the 2023-24 campaign.

It is the number he wore for both of his stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and for the first three seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. NBA fans reacted to this decision from LeBron.

A Lakers fan believes they are winning the championship next season after this move.

One fan always preferred No. 23 over No. 6 so they like this decision.

One fan says LeBron is the greatest player to wear that number, although Michael Jordan might disagree.

We’ll see vintage LeBron in this upcoming season as per one fan.

One individual was rather unhappy with this as he just purchased the No. 6 jersey!

The NBA had retired the No. 6 league-wide last year to honor Bill Russell but had given the players who were wearing the number prior to it, the option to keep it. LeBron chose to do that for one season to honor the great man but is now changing out of respect for him and it is the right move.

LeBron had originally switched to No. 6 in 2021 as the number was special to him. His eldest son Bronny James was born on the 6th of October while Bryce James was born on June 14th, the sixth month of the year.
