NBA Insider Reveals The Potential Lakers Closing Lineup And Fans Are Really Disappointed

The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of questions to answer this offseason, and it doesn’t seem like they have the right ones. The Purple and Gold are trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel after a terrible 2021/22 NBA season where they couldn’t even make it to the play-in tournament.

A lot has been said about Russell Westbrook’s inability to adapt to the team, while LeBron James and Anthony Davis have earned criticism as well for pushing for this trade. However, all the bad comments won’t make any change unless the front office pulls off a big move to revive their hopes of being contenders.

With Darvin Ham as their new head coach, the Lakers might have a chance to be competitive again, but not everybody is convinced of that. After Jovan Buha of The Athletic predicted the team’s closing lineup, Redditor “Beast_Mode1265” shared it with the rest of the fans, and they were extremely disappointed to see what kind of team the Lakers would have in closing time.

Lakers closing lineup

Austin Reaves, Troy Brown Jr., LeBron James, Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Anthony Davis seem to be a solid lineup, but not everybody shared that feeling, with most fans showing their pessimism about this upcoming NBA season.

With all due respect, this is a**

Dear Lord,

Please keep Lebron and AD healthy as f**k this season.

Amen.

Even then it might not be enough. That’s a bad lineup any way you put it. We need a trade.

Dear Lord,

If 2 picks gets Kyrie then do it plz bby

Even if they play all 82, the most this team can hope for is the Play In and a gentleman’s sweep in the 1st round.

I think with out current roster now, as I thought last season. If we made the play-in/playoff lebron and AD could carry us farther than many think. The hard part is making the postseason to begin with because they can’t go hard enough to carry like that for 50+ games.

This is a lottery team

This would be worst than last year

4/5 of the lineup is Klutch. I’ma just leave it at that

Lebron + Ad + role players is what the Lakers need. I don’t understand the hate for this.

This lineup has sent my mental state spiralling down the toilet.

We’d be competing with the South Bay Lakers

There’s no way that Kendrick Nunn wouldn’t be in the closing lineup

7-75

damn we’re cooked

Didn’t think it could be worse than last year

The Lakers need to make some changes this offseason. Not many people around the league think they can even make it past the first round of the playoffs with their current roster, and seeing how bad their closing lineup looks, that could be even worse.

We have to sit and wait for what the Lakers will do. They’ve been linked with a move for Kyrie Irving, but so far, nothing has happened. They went from being a championship team to a struggling squad, and now it’s very hard to turn things around.
