Andrew Wiggins is having a great time with the Golden State Warriors, although things haven’t gone in their favor this campaign. They are still fighting to make it to the playoffs and the Canadian player is ready to help them achieve their goal in the next couple of weeks.

After a failed stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wiggins was dealt to the Bay and he’s been a very valuable piece for the team. Although things haven’t been easy for them this campaign, Wiggins has made it clear he’s looking forward to sharing touches with Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green next season, trying to take this team to the top of the league again.

“It’s a great fit,” Wiggins said after the Warriors beat the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, via NBC Sports. “I’m playing with Steph — that’s legendary in itself. Playing with Draymond [Green]. I’m excited to play with Klay [Thompson]. Just Warriors basketball. On and off the court, the organization, how they treat everybody, and the atmosphere is crazy. It’s been nothing but love here and I enjoy it.”

The feeling is mutual, as the team has made it clear they have enjoyed their time with Maple Jordan. Steve Kerr had similar things to say about Wiggins, praising his hard work, saying he’s very coachable, something that’s hard to find in some players lately.

“Even when he’s banged up, he’s there for you,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said, via The San Francisco Chronicle . “I love coaching Wiggs. I love having him on this team, because he’s a winner. He’s just there for you. He’s Mr. Consistent. He’s there every night.”

This association has been great so far. The Warriors are still missing one piece that will return next year but added to Stephen Curry’s big performances this season, they have had very good players to accompany the sharpshooter and Wiggins is one of those.
