Austin Rivers Reacts To Nikola Jokic’s Workout Music: ‘The MVP’s Music Taste A Little Different Than Mine’

Austin Rivers found out he can’t work out while Nikola Jokic is at the gym. The culture shock between the guard and the center was big, according to footage showing Rivers entering the gym and leaving immediately.

Jokic has always been a different type of star. That hasn’t changed even after winning the 2021 NBA MVP, and his teammates are well aware of that. Austin recently shared a TBT video showing the moment he found out Jokic’s taste in music was very incompatible with his.

“TBT to when I found out I couldn’t lift same time as big fella… The MVP’s music taste a little different than mine.

I got a damn headache with this.”

The Serbian big man is living a great moment, individually speaking, after clinching the 2021 MVP award. However, the Nuggets have struggled to get past the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference semifinals.

The Joker and co. need to step up, or the Suns will take a 3-0 lead nearly impossible to overcome. Perhaps they’ll need to start listening to the same music to get inspired before games.

But, it looks like Rivers will be in charge of the aux cord to avoid listening to Balkan beats. Austin was signed by the Nuggets after getting bought out by the New York Knicks, finding a new home in Colorado.
