Bam Adebayo Roasts Kyle Lowry: "We Have A Lot Of Intelligent Players. Some Of Us Are Very Athletic. Not Kyle."

The Miami Heat are a roster loaded with veteran players who are experienced in the playoffs such as P. J. Tucker and Markieff Morris. They're gearing up to make a run for the championship after making the Finals during the 2019-20 season. One of their key acquisitions for the team was 6-time All-Star Kyle Lowry who was acquired from the Toronto Raptors in a sign-and-trade.

Kyle Lowry brings a lot to the table. He's one of the best playmakers in the league, and plays fairly solid defense as a point guard, often drawing charges and sacrificing his body. Lowry is a championship-caliber point guard, and he won a ring with the 2019 Toronto Raptors. He is currently averaging 12.4 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 7.6 APG.

While Lowry is obviously a positive influence on the court and an experienced veteran, he isn't particularly athletic. Bam Adebayo recently roasted Kyle Lowry during a post-game session. He claimed that the Miami Heat "have a lot of intelligent players" and that some of them "are very athletic", but added that Kyle Lowry isn't one of them.

While athleticism does matter in any sport, sometimes one can make up for the lack of athleticism with other skills on the court. That is what Kyle Lowry has done throughout his career, and has continued to do with the Miami Heat.
