Boban Marjanovic is making waves as he prepares to return to the EuroLeague, this time with Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce. After spending nine seasons in the NBA, playing for six different teams, Marjanovic has signed a one-year deal to play in Europe. His latest photos show the towering 7-foot-4 Serbian looking absolutely shredded, signaling that he’s entering “beast mode” as he gears up for his return to the international basketball stage.

Marjanovic’s time in the NBA was marked by his immense popularity and his larger-than-life presence, both on and off the court. Despite limited playing time, averaging just 8.7 minutes per game over his career, he consistently made an impact whenever he stepped on the floor.

His career averages of 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game highlight his efficiency, especially given his limited opportunities. Beyond his stats, Marjanovic’s affable personality made him a fan favorite, and he became a sought-after figure for endorsements and even movie cameos, appearing in films like John Wick: Chapter 3 and Hustle.

However, Marjanovic’s playing time dwindled in his final season with the Houston Rockets, appearing in only 14 games and largely playing in garbage time. Despite this, he ended his NBA stint on a high note, scoring a season-high 13 points in his last game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Now, at 36, Marjanovic is ready to reignite his career in Europe, returning to a league where he previously dominated.

Before his NBA journey began in 2015 with the San Antonio Spurs, Marjanovic was a star in Europe. Playing for Crvena Zvezda in Serbia, he won the EuroLeague MVP for three consecutive years (2013-2015). His return to the EuroLeague with Fenerbahce brings him back to a familiar stage where he was once one of the most dominant forces in European basketball.

Fenerbahce, one of the most storied clubs in Turkish basketball, will benefit from Marjanovic’s size, skill, and experience. Known for his soft touch around the basket and his ability to create mismatches with his size, Marjanovic will be a valuable addition to the team as they look to compete for EuroLeague glory.

Marjanovic’s return to Europe is a full-circle moment in his career, as he returns to where his dominance first began. His move to Fenerbahce has sparked excitement not only for fans of the team but also for basketball enthusiasts who have followed his journey from Europe to the NBA and back again.
