Bradley Beal is one of the best shooting guards in the league when he's healthy. He's a fantastic volume scorer, often capable of having explosive scoring stretches throughout the season. He scored less this season but made plays for others, putting up a respectable 23.2 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 6.6 APG.

There has been a lot of speculation about Bradley Beal potentially leaving the Washington Wizards in the past, despite his continued loyalty to the franchise. The Washington Wizards did not make the playoffs this season.

With that being said, it seems as though Bradley Beal is leaning towards re-signing with the Washington Wizards this offseason. However, he underwent wrist surgery in February, and is currently "focused on rehab". Ava Wallace of The Washington Post relayed the news:

Beal said he is still leaning toward signing a multiyear deal with Washington worth roughly $250 million this July, and in the meantime he’s focused on rehab after having his cast removed in late April following season-ending wrist surgery in February.

“Surgery was good; recovery went well. Had no issues,” Beal said.

Of course, things can end up being different for Bradley Beal by the time free agency rolls around. However, this will definitely be encouraging to hear for Washington Wizards fans, as Bradley Beal is a fan-favorite star.

If Bradley Beal does end up re-signing with the Washington Wizards, then they will need to find a way to become a more competitive team than they were this season. They do have some fairly good players on their roster already besides Bradley Beal, such as Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis. They won't be a contender next season, but if they make the right moves, they will definitely be able to be a play-in tier team and potentially make the playoffs through that route.
