LeBron James has been in the league for a long time. He came to the NBA as a kid with a lot of expectations from fans and experts alike. Fast forward to 2022, James is ready to enter the 20th season of his NBA career and is still going strong.

At one point or another, even the best players in NBA history tend to decline and slow down in their respective careers. But in LeBron’s case, we are yet to see a significant decline. It’s even more impressive when we consider the fact that LeBron will turn 38 years old before the year ends.

In the 2021-22 NBA season, James proved his talent and racked up some pretty impressive numbers. Unfortunately, his efforts weren’t enough for the Lakers to even make it to the playoffs.

Evidently, James and co. are looking to seek revenge in the upcoming season. But can he really manage that? After all, he will soon turn 38 years old. Well, James’ former superstar teammate and longtime close friend Dwyane Wade recently shared his thoughts on James entering the 20th NBA season of his career.

“Is LeBron the best he’s ever been right now?”

“I watch his game and say does he have a weakness in his game? I start from the rim all the way back to half court, he can do everything. He’s good at everything. As a fan, this is the best LeBron I’ve ever seen.”

Since Wade and LeBron played together for four years for the Miami Heat, the former knows the latter pretty well. If Wade is saying that this version of James is the best he’s ever seen, it certainly speaks volumes about the King’s ability to take care of his body.

The only thing fans want to see next season is James leading the Lakers to another NBA Championship. It would have a very positive impact on James’ case for being considered the GOAT of basketball.
