Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the more beloved superstars in the NBA right now. Sure, some are put off by the fact that he takes over 10 seconds to shoot free throws but apart from things like that, there isn’t much to dislike about Giannis.

He is very humble and has a sense of humor, which leads to him coming up with dad jokes every now and then. Giannis can get a bit brutal at times, however, and teammate Serge Ibaka definitely caught him at the wrong time. Ibaka has a show called How Hungry Are You? on which Giannis has been a guest in the past. Ibaka had Jrue Holiday on the show this time around, and they seemed to have called up Giannis, who absolutely roasted Ibaka.

“I don’t wanna drink that s**t. You’re not a chef, you’re not an artist, you’re a role player and a rebounder and screen setter. That’s what you are. Bye!”

That was savage right there, and Ibaka had a priceless expression on his face after that. Safe to say Giannis probably won’t be getting a Christmas card from Ibaka unless he apologizes for this roast. While he is all fun and games here, Antetokounmpo is very serious when it comes to basketball, and he wasn’t happy after they lost to the lowly Houston Rockets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Sends A Message To His Teammates

Their offense struggled mightily in the loss, as they only scored 92 points, with the last quarter, in particular, being dreadful as they managed just 13 points in the period. Giannis had a rare off night, as he scored just 16 points, but he did have 18 rebounds. He also sent a message to his teammates after the loss, and they’ll need to play a whole lot better against the Golden State Warriors.

The Bucks suffered another blow in that game, as Khris Middleton had to leave with an ankle sprain, although it isn’t serious, which is a relief. Middleton is so important for this team, and if not for his injury in the playoffs, they probably would have defended their title. They’ll surely be cautious with him here as they look to ensure that he’s fully healthy next year in the postseason.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
