Most NBA fans love LeBron James for what he has done on the court throughout his entire career. Coming into the league as a 19-year-old, he was already expected to save the Cleveland Cavaliers and deliver an NBA Championship to the city.
While it took him some time to achieve that, he finally did it in 2016. Apart from that achievement, LeBron's career has been full of amazing accomplishments. He has been the face of the league for the last decade or so and is still the best player in the NBA for many fans.
All things considered, James will go down as one of the best players to ever play in the league. But the fact that LBJ had a pretty tough childhood and was raised alone by his mother, makes his achievements even more worthy to celebrate.
Speaking of celebrations, James recently brought his mother Gloria James a brand new Mercedes G Wagon. LeBron's surprise was an early gift for his mother's birthday, which is just a few days away as it falls on February 04.
It must have been a proud moment for Gloria as she had gone through such a tough time in her life when James was just a kid. She was understandably elated upon receiving this gift from her son. She went on Instagram to express her happiness. In a recent post, Gloria James wrote:
"Thank you my caring and giving son, @kingjames, for my early surprise birthday gift! You’re always thinking of and doing things to help make my life easier and make me happy. Love you infinity ❤️❤️❤️❤️♾♾♾♾."
LeBron James has always been a family man and he has been taking good care of his family for as long as we can remember.
While James' life off the court couldn't be better, the same cannot be said for his life in the NBA. The Lakers are struggling to perform at a consistent level even after amazing performances after performances from the 37-year-old LeBron.
Can the purple and gold somehow turn the season around? We will find out once the season is over.
