Ahead of the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Chicago Bulls were seen as one of the contenders to compete for the NBA Championship this season. Well, it’s safe to assume that the Bulls have failed to live up to those expectations by a landslide.

As of now, the Chicago Bulls have an embarrassing record of 11-18 and sit as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. Things only got worse for the Bulls after their recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Most expected it to be a close game, but that wasn’t the case. In fact, the Bulls were absolutely destroyed by the Timberwolves. The Bulls gave up 150 points and understandably lost the game. They were heavily roasted by fans for this unexpected defeat.

Goran Dragic On The Chicago Bulls Giving Up 150 Points Against The Minnesota Timberwolves

Following the astonishing defeat, DeMar DeRozan was one of the first players to call out the Bulls. This was the fourth straight defeat for DeMar DeRozan and co., and it was undoubtedly the most embarrassing one.

After DeRozan, veteran guard Goran Dragic also had nothing nice to say about this performance by the Bulls. Dragic believes there is no synergy between players as of now.

A candid Goran Dragić on all that currently ails the Bulls:

“We are not playing for each other. Simple as that. Somebody told me, ‘It’s easy to talk about sacrifice if somebody else is sacrificing,’ but when it comes to you, you have to sacrifice for the team. That is a different story. You have to accept it, but it’s tough. Everybody needs to do that because we’re in the same boat. Everybody’s playing for the same colors, for the same team, for the same city. That’s why we have to sacrifice for each other. To make a better play, to make a better defensive stop, to screen somebody to make a swing-swing-pass – if you have a good shot, if you swing it, somebody will have a better shot – it’s the small details. In this league everybody can beat you, and we can see that.”

It was obvious that DeRozan was frustrated and took out his anger after giving up 150 points against the Timberwolves. But at the end of the day, the Bulls may really have to blow up their current team, as the rumors have suggested.
