Ja Morant is one of the best point guards in the league, and over the course of the regular season, he was instrumental in bringing the Memphis Grizzlies to the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Most recently, the Memphis Grizzlies came back to win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, at one point being down 26. There is no doubt that it was an incredible comeback, and many people have criticized the Timberwolves for letting such a big lead go. (3:00)

During the game, the atmosphere was electric, and Ja Morant faced a lot of boos and a fair amount of booing from fans in Minnesota. After the game, Ja Morant roasted Timberwolves fans, claiming that the team’s goal was to make Minnesota fans “go home mad” and joked that there are probably ” a lot of people drinking” after the loss.

“I’m disrespectful just like they’re disrespectful. That’s why you see I threw that ball in the air. I asked for the ball. I know what we’re capable of.

“Like I said this morning, that was our goal. Come in and win games on the road and have their fans go home mad. There’s probably a lot of people drinking tonight with that L. I’ve seen a video too. Y’all see it later though.”

There is no doubt that the Memphis Grizzlies currently have the upper hand in this series, and they are clearly confident in their abilities. Game 4 will be crucial for them, as if they win, they will go up 3-1. Few teams come back from that sort of deficit.

The Memphis Grizzlies are contenders under Ja Morant this year, and they definitely have a good shot of getting to the NBA Finals. Their next matchup if they win the series against the Timberwolves will very likely be the Golden State Warriors, who are not an easy team to beat. However, the Memphis Grizzlies have been a stellar team, so perhaps we’ll see them get past that roadblock and potentially win it all this season.
