Josh Giddey is one of the brightest young stars in the NBA right now. The 6th pick of the 2021 NBA Draft, Giddey averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game on his way to earning All-Rookie Second Team honors. One of the things that Giddey needed to work on to further his development was to work on his physique, and he has been doing just that.

The Australian looked more comfortable on the court during the Summer League as he was better equipped to deal with the physical aspect of the game, and recently he posted a shirtless picture of himself beside a pool on Instagram.

While fans raved about the picture, his teammate and fellow rookie from last year, Tre Mann asked him to chill with these kinds of pictures as his grandmother was on Instagram, and Giddey had a hilarious response to that.

Safe to say, Mann didn’t have anything else to add after Giddey’s epic reply, and hey, the invite stands for his grandmother! Jokes aside, it’s clear that there is great camaraderie within the Thunder locker room, and the future is very bright for the franchise.

Giddey, along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, who was the second pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, has the potential to be something special together in the future. In Josh, they have someone who is capable of doing everything on the court, as he holds the top 3 spots for youngest player to record a triple-double in league history. He did it one more time for good measure and now holds the top 4 spots, which is an amazing achievement. If Giddey keeps improving and Holmgren develops into the kind of player that his supporters believe he can be, then the rest of the league is going to have a massive problem on their hands for over a decade or so.
