With the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry aging, the NBA has a big question to answer: who will be the next face of the league? Fortunately, they don’t lack candidates to take that honor once the three legends aforementioned decide to call it a career.
We have many incredible young players that are already taking over the league with their talent and spectacular play night in and night out. However, not everybody could take the torch when our current superstars retire.
Kendrick Perkins decided to do this exercise and came up with three solid candidates to take that honor while naming a fourth one that could be the face of the association. The 2008 NBA champion tweeted his three best candidates, who are three players going through a sweet moment.
“It’s a 3 man race between Ja, Luka and Trae on who is going to be the next face of the NBA! Btw Tatum slowly creeping into that conversation as well!!! Carry the hell on…”

Ja Morant is the man of the hour in recent days, leading the Memphis Grizzlies to the top 3 in the Western Conference standings with his incredible performances. The third-year guard is one of the most exciting players to watch right now, and many people believe he will be even greater in the future.
Luka Doncic is also a terrific player that has been tearing rivals with his Dallas Mavericks. He’s another good candidate to take over the league. Trae Young has already led his team to the Eastern Conference finals while destroying rivals in the process.
Jayson Tatum is trying to return to the ECF, too, but the Boston Celtics have struggled to get things going. This season, the competition will be hard for the Greens, but having Tatum and Jaylen Brown on board will always help them.
The competition is pretty big for these players. Other stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Devin Booker and LaMelo Ball are trying to get that honor, but only one can do it.
