Kevin Durant and LeBron James are both top-tier superstars and multiple-time championship winners. The duo has often been compared over the course of their careers, with many fans debating which of the two is the better player.

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant and LeBron James have been at the top of the NBA for a long time, and they are both still playing at a high level. Their longevity is certainly admirable.

Hoop Central has recently shared a graphic that showcases just how long Kevin Durant and LeBron James have dominated in the league. Both James and Durant were scoring leaders in the 2009-10 season, and they are both the scoring leaders this year.

Kevin Durant is currently 33 years old, while LeBron James is 37. It’s crazy to think that they both forwards are still competing well against younger superstars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic, and the fact that they are able to lead the league in scoring now is a testament to their greatness.

Both players will have aspirations to win the 2021-22 championship, and both of their teams were touted as being among the best teams in the league going into this season. However, the stories of their team’s seasons are drastically different. The Brooklyn Nets are currently the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-14 record, while the Los Angeles Lakers are currently the 7th seed in the Western Conference with a 21-20 record.

It remains to be seen how long Kevin Durant and LeBron James will stay among the top players in the league. Father time catches up to everyone eventually, but neither has shown any sign of slowing down. Hopefully, we are able to see them continue to play at a high level for at least a few more years, and there’s no question that both can still have time to add to their legacy.
