During his career, Kevin Durant has had the privilege of playing with some of the best shooters in the game. During his time with Golden State, he had the opportunity to play with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who together formed one of the most lethal backcourts in NBA history. Stephen Curry is widely considered to the best shooter of all time, and Klay Thompson is definitely up there in the rankings.
With his move to the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant gets to play with yet another elite shooter in Joe Harris. Joe Harris is currently shooting 48.4% from beyond the arc which is an amazing mark for a shooter. Kevin Durant has recently stated that while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the best shooters he’s played with, Joe Harris is also trending in that direction.
“Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the best shooters I’ve played with. Joe Harris is definitely right up there, getting there.”

Good shooters are an extremely important part of team construction, and all franchises see the value in a good shooter. Joe Harris is an extremely underrated player in the NBA, which comes with the territory of having superstar teammates who take the media spotlight. But Joe Harris is one of the top 3 shooters in the league this season in terms of 3PT percentage. He is getting plenty of open looks with defenses zoned in on the Nets’ superstars, and he is knocking them down at a great rate.
Having Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson made the game easier for Kevin Durant in Golden State. While Joe Harris isn’t quite as good as those two, he still provides a solid impact with his floor spacing.
