Kyrie Irving Is Excited To Get Back On The Court, Says Sean Marks

Kyrie Irving has recently been sitting out from Brooklyn Nets basketball games recently, with the explanation being ‘personal reasons’. Some members of the media have recently criticized Kyrie Irving for his absences, especially as a video circulated where it seemed like he was partying maskless. That has cast some doubt on Irving’s attitude towards the team, and his desire to play.

On top of that, the Brooklyn Nets have acquired James Harden from the Houston Rockets. Kyrie Irving now has two superstar teammates and it seems like the mood around the Nets is championship or bust. Irving will have to figure things out with his new teammates while also changing the narrative about his off-court endeavors. Luckily for the Brooklyn Nets, it seems like Kyrie Irving is excited about the challenge and excited to play:

Nets GM Sean Marks said that he has talked to Kyrie Irving and that he is "excited about getting back on the court with his teammates as soon as possibleā€ https://t.co/WwWzPGQKE2

It is only natural for Kyrie Irving to be excited about his new teammate. James Harden is a former MVP who has been a scoring champion, and trading for him has given the Brooklyn Nets the best team on paper in the Eastern Conference. Kyrie Irving may take more time off for personal reasons: that is acceptable. But when he comes back, the Nets could prove themselves to be the favorites they’re supposed to.

While we don’t know whether the Brooklyn Nets will work out like they’re supposed to, they’re certainly an exciting team. Three superstars on the same team is a recipe for success, and the Nets will hope that their gamble for James Harden will pay off.
